Is there anything more cozy than a cinnamon roll fresh from the oven? I love cinnamon rolls, but I always struggled with the "carb crash" shortly after I ate one.

Fresh Milled Flour does not sift out any of the original components and contains all of the bran, germ, and endosperm which helps to slow the absorption of the carbohydrates. This reduces the opportunity for an insulin spike and avoids making you feel like you need a a nap shortly after eating... although we do enjoy a good nap in our house. Especially on a fall day with the windows open.

Cinnamon Rolls are a Saturday Morning favorite in our home. Awhile ago my Mom, Jacob, and I, were browsing the Home Goods Store and a pan caught my eye. If you've ever shopped in a store like Home Goods or TJMaxx, you know that when you see something you had better snag it before someone else does and if you aren't sure you can let it take a ride in your cart while you decide.

Jacob immediately fell in love with a pan in the shape of one of his favorite things, tractors. While intended to be used as a cake pan one morning I decided to layer the dough and filling for cinnamon rolls into the pan. The result was this beautiful Tractor Cinnamon Roll Bread. It pairs beautifully with a light vanilla glaze or dipped in warm maple syrup.

Who says rolls have to be round? I made these fun shaped rolls for Easter Dinner with my husband's family. It brought joy to my heart as the bread basket was passed around and children and adults alike, had fun picking out their favorite shape.

I'm excited to try my scone recipe in this shape pan to see what happens.

If you're up for a real treat, whip some softened butter in a mixer with a bit of cinnamon and sugar and get ready for your mouth to water.
